FatLabs was asked to master this song so it could be included on a compilation CD. The source file was a 24-bit unmastered stereo file. The client was unhappy with the combination of harshness and muddiness in the original source file. After carefully controlling several high frequencies and reshaping the mid-range, FatLabs was able to eliminate the harsh tones while adding clarity to the entire mix. The client left happy and the song made it onto the compilation.
